Ben McMyler will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in epistemology. He is particularly interested in self-knowledge and in the epistemology of testimony, and his current research focuses on the role of authority relations in thought and action.  His recent publications include:  “Knowing at Second Hand”, Inquiry, Vol. 50, No. 5 (Oct. 2007), 511-540; “Believing What the Man Says About His Own Feelings”, forthcoming in New Essays on the Philosophy of  J.
