Anyone we admit must also have 95 hours or fewer. Junior College CoursesMany junior college courses in Texas offer courses that transfer automatically into A&M as A&M courses. For an indication of what courses these are, please go to. If the course you're interested in is not on the Texas Common Numbering System, it is a very good idea to check with the department that offers the course first, before you invest any money in the course. For example, if you are thinking of taking an English course at a junior college, and the course is not on the TCCNS, it is wise to check with the English department to make sure that you can get A&M credit for the course. It is also important to make sure that you are taing enough upper-division courses at A&M, so that you fulfill the Residency Requirement (see question 6).
