Sweet has has her primary area of interest the work of Immanuel Kant. Her first book, Kant on Practical Life: From Duty to History, was published with Cambridge University Press in 2013. She is currently working on a second book focused on Kant’s Critique of Judgment. She has published essays on Kant’s practical philosophy and aesthetics in the Kantian Review, Epoche: A Journal for the History of Philosophy, Idealistic Studies, Rethinking Kant, and the Journal of Aesthetic Education. She is a co-founder of the Southern study group of the North American Kant Society (SNAKS).
