The Department of Philosophy features diverse research specializations. As of fall 2015, we are ranked in in applied ethics, decision theory, and early modern philosophy by The Philosophical Gourmet, and in Africana Philosophy, American Philosophy, Continental Philosophy, Feminist Philosophy, and Latin American Philosophy by The Pluralists’ Guide.
